I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend! Enjoy being with family and friends. That's the most important thing about "get-togethers."

I had a fairly uneventful week. It was nice to get back to work. My coworkers are my friends as well (there's only 5-6 of us 'full time'), so it's nice to get back to my friends.

I'm trying to learn a new graphics program. That's really great for me! I love graphics!! That's my work-related passion. ...lots of fun.

Son came over several times for dinner during my days off and this week. It was nice to see him and see how he's doing. He went with hubby to play poker, as well. He seemed to really look forward to those days.

And more importantly, I'm taking one day at a time. I'm trying to deal with things as they come. I'm trying to be more positive. ...just let things go that I can't do anything about at this time.

I can't believe we've had him that long...

When we first brought him home, he was about 4.5 inches long.
Now he's 12 inches long!

Hubby has taken to calling him the Zibby Monster!

Well, I'm back at work now!

Courage doesn't always roar

A week is gone...

I don't know that I've done much...

I've relaxed. ...slept in for days. ...taken naps. I've started a previously read book (no, it's not Harry Potter! ;P)

I'm doing a little housework. ...cleaning up a touch! (For goodness sake, who wants to clean house, though, on their time off, I ask?!?! ;))

I've had a little drama. Zibby ran away! Nearly 24 hours later I found him. That little brat is too smart for his own good! ;) I walked into the kitchen only to see him (through periferal vision) running away! I captured him, though. He seemed none too happy! But it's okay. He is now 3.5 months old and nearly 12 inches long. (More pics to come...) I think it's time to move him to the 60 gallon tank now. The little bugger is getting bored in his smaller cage! He managed to jimmy the door of his cage open as he snuck out. But it's a "beginner" cage for now, so it's no wonder he got out. And we already know he's one of the most intelligent breeds of lizard there is... He gets bored VERY easily. So yeah, it's time...

The computer went down. It's still not completely up, but it's up enough.

We celebrated son's 22nd birthday. We took him out for dinner, did some shopping, and he and hubby went to poker for the night. Great fun! He said he had a blast! And that's what it's all about.

Just a quick note to say that I'm not avoiding anyone, but

our computer has been out of commission the last couple

of days. We don't know what happened. We turned if off

Tuesday night, and it was completely hosed Wednesday

morning.

Who knows...

We have it partially up now. ...enough to get online and check

emails and such. At least for now...

And this is my two weeks off, so this is my only way to get online!

But I'm a big geek and hubby is an even bigger geek, so we are

hoping to get this figured out soon!
